Truckee Meadows Community College, located in Reno Nevada, is accepting applications for the Director of Dental Hygiene.

Truckee Meadows Community College is a growing, multi-campus institution that serves the diverse population of Northern Nevada. Serving the Reno-Sparks area since 1971, TMCC's student body exceeds 13,000 students with an FTE of 7,000 at 35 sites throughout Washoe County. TMCC has an operating budget over $70 million for 2011 - 2012. Students are enrolled in college transfer, occupational, developmental, business, and community service classes. Courses are available at night and on the weekends and the majority of students attend part-time. TMCC is located in Reno, Nevada, an area rich with outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, biking, skiing, fishing, boating and much more. Reno is located in a beautiful environment within the Great Basin with the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the West, within 40 minutes of Lake Tahoe, and in proximity of the San Francisco Bay Area. Three national parks (Yosemite, Lassen, and Death Valley) are within easy driving distance.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in the discipline or in a related area from an accredited institution.
2. Eligible for current licensure as a Dentist or Dental Hygienist in Nevada.
3. 3 years experience in the discipline with recent clinical practice.
4. 2 years management experience.
5. 2 years post secondary teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Accreditation process experience.
2. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
3. Experience in a community college environment.
