Position Description:

The Department of Construction Management and Engineering at North Dakota State University (www.ndsu.edu/construction) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, based on qualifications or experience. The anticipated start date is August 16, 2013.

Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including developing and delivering on-line courses; advising undergraduate students, master students, and Ph.D. students; developing and maintaining a sponsored research program; publishing research results in the peer-reviewed journals, and providing service to the department, college, university, the construction industry, and professional organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include: a Ph.D. degree in construction management, construction engineering, architectural engineering, or civil engineering; 1-3 years of relevant construction industry experience; and demonstrated teaching and research skills. Effective Oral and Written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include: five-years of relevant construction industry experience; relevant professional registration and/or certifications (CPC and/or PE); college level teaching and research experience, and knowledge about ACCE and/or ABET accreditation.
