Job Description: Investigating nonadiabatic chemical reactions using methods of quantum chemistry and molecular dynamics. Catalysis by metalloproteins and reactions relevant in astrochemistry are the main areas of interest. Projects involve a combination of methods development and application. Other responsibilities include guiding and advising graduate and undergraduate student researchers, and writing scholarly papers in association with the faculty member.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in theoretical physical chemistry or chemical physics.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated skills and experience in scientific research and written and oral communication.
