Lindenwood University-Belleville, located in Belleville, Illinois, currently has openings for two full-time assistant/associate professor
appointments in the Criminal Justice Department. All positions require face-to-face teaching, commitment to collegiality, participating in
departmental service activities, involvement in recruitment and retention activities, professional and scholarly development activities, and
community involvement. Each position requires a PhD in criminal justice, criminology, or closely related field. At minimum, each candidate
should be prepared to teach introductory courses in the areas of criminal justice and criminology. Upper level classes will be assigned
based on departmental need and candidates' areas of specialization. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience,
expertise, and/or field experience. Initial review of applications will commence immediately and will continue until positions are filled.
Anticipated starting date is fall 2013. Salary is commensurate with experience.
