Responsibilities: conduct thorough reviews concerning the effectiveness of internal controls and whether resources are efficiently utilized, assets are properly safeguarded, and the university complies with its regulatory obligations; lead audits of the university to ensure effectiveness of internal controls and accuracy of recorded data.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field; four or more years of audit/accounting experience; proficiency in Excel and Word; excellent writing and communication skills; attention to detail; ability to manage complex issues.
Preferred qualifications: MBA, CPA, or CIA; experience in not-for-profit, governmental, or colleges and universities.
