Job Description: The selected candidate will serve as a financial aid counselor and will be responsible for reviewing financial aid applications, awarding financial aid, and counseling students and parents about financial aid eligibility and programs. Candidates should be able to communicate clearly and interact in a positive manner with a widely diverse student population. In addition, candidates should be highly tolerant of change and be able to retain a great deal of complex information. Attention to detail is essential. The preferred candidate will possess a working knowledge of student financial aid programs and familiarity with ECU policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions

Special Instructions to Applicants: This position is subject to the Career Banding Salary Administration Plan. Pay will be commensurate with applicant's competencies as well as budget, equity, and market considerations.

Salary Grade Equivalent: 65 (for reduction-in-force priority purposes only)
