Responsibilities: Monitors and assists functional staff with the technical use of PeopleSoft; develops ad hoc queries for users; assists
with the development of internal and external necessary reports; coordinates with users the testing of patches and fixes that may resolve
specific problem issues; submits problem functional cases to PeopleSoft for resolution; develops and maintains documentation for functional
PeopleSoft processes; assists in customization design, prototyping, scripting, testing, and any upgrades that may occur in PeopleSoft
implementation; works with the professional staff to develop and implement processes and/or systems for improvements; responsible for
support on setup tables; provides hands-on requirements gathering, analysis, and implementation of requested upgrades, enhancements, and
changes to PeopleSoft applications; provides functional support of applications working directly with modules in managing their requests;
understands their requirements and translates business requirements to functional specifications through hands-on analysis; coordinates
functional security with modules; develops specifications for change management control; acts as liaison between functional users and
technical team; assists developers with design solutions for application modifications, interfaces and reports; acts as a back-up for other
PeopleSoft modules. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum four (4) years experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions version 9.0 required. Minimum one full life cycle PeopleSoft implementation/upgrade project completion in a functional role required. Experience in functional application for higher education required. Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Records module preferred. Ability to solve problems quickly and completely, and document solutions; possess good analytical skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to facilitate communication within and between engineering teams; ability to gather user requirements and translate into technical specifications.
Condition of Employment: This position is Title III grant-funded. Employment is subject to available funding.
