Job Description: The Manager of Tutorial Services is responsible for designing, implementing and assessing the policies and procedures that regulate the Tutorial Services Department at the College of Southern Nevada. The manager is expected to conceptualize, develop and implement tutoring services that promote sound academic and decision making skills that will greatly help students successfully complete their courses. In this capacity, the manager provides direct leadership by hiring, training, supervising, coaching and evaluating professional, classified and part time employees who work in the Department of Tutorial Services. The manager collaborates with deans, faculty and administrators to provide appropriate tutorial support services for students. The manager is responsible for coordinating all daily programmatic and business functions in an executive manner to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and institutional mandates. The manager also makes recommendations to the appropriate Associate Vice President on the fiscal management of the comprehensive budget for the Department of Tutorial Services.

Required Qualifications:
1.) Earned Masters Degree in Higher Education, Higher Education Leadership, Public Administration, Psychology or Counseling from a regionally accredited college or university.
2.) Minimum of three years of experience tutoring in a college or university setting.
3.) Minimum of three years of supervisory or managerial experience in a college or university setting.
4.) Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population of students and colleagues.
5.) Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6.) Ability to use computer technology such as the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:
