POSITION TITLE
Assistant Volleyball Coach [13178]

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position reports to the Head Volleyball Coach and will be assigned responsibilities within the Women's Volleyball program as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Head Coach. Those responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to, evaluating, teaching and skill instruction for student-athletes on-the-court for all aspects of the game preparation (video, scouting, etc), recruiting student-athletes locally, regionally and nationally, organizing and administering recruiting visits for prospective student-athletes, assisting with the daily administrative details for the women's volleyball department including interdepartmental policies and procedures, compliance with all NCAA and conference rules, financial aid management and processing and team travel. Assist student managers, coordinate match video and Data Volley upload for conference and team. Assist in helping to establish and maintain an environment conducive to the welfare and academic success of the student-athlete and relationships within the Athletics Department and University.

This position will also serve as the liaison for the academic support staff, including study hall monitoring and class checks and campus housing and financial aid.

The assistant women's volleyball coach will also be responsible for camps, clinics and community service programs as deemed necessary by the Head Coach.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of two (2) years experience in college volleyball coaching. Experience coaching or playing collegiate volleyball at the Division I level preferred. Candidate should also have excellent computer skills and be versed in appropriate social media applications.

SALARY RANGE
Commensurate with coaching experience.
