Assistant Football Coach, Intercollegiate Athletics

Professional contract position available February 4, 2013. Major responsibility: develop in conjunction with the Head Coach, planning of practice sessions and competitive coaching situations; assess and evaluate talent and recruitment of athletes; develop scouting reports and pre-competition evaluations of opponents; make recommendations in regard to fund raising, promotions and marketing, special projects, clinics and campus; monitor academic progress of athletes; adhere to all rules and regulations of Ball State University, the Mid-American Conference, and the NCAA.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree by date of appointment; successful playing and/or coaching experience; possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the university's auto fleet policy.

Preferred qualification: At least one year of collegiate coaching experience in the sport of football.
