A pioneer in innovative academic programs since 1897 and one of the fastest growing colleges in New England, Bay Path College is seeking an experienced adjunct faculty member to teach, on-line, in the graduate Special Education program in the Spring of 2013. Students enrolled in this course are seeking graduate degrees in special education.

Course begins March 1, 2013 and runs through June 1, 2013.

This course deals with the implications of disabling conditions on optimal learning potential and daily well-being of children. Emphasis is on identification of disabling conditions and techniques used to promote successful integration of children with and without special needs in educational settings. Topics covered include familiarity with Individualized Education Programs, intervention and instructional strategies for diverse learners, and collaborative partnerships with families and community resources.

Qualifications: Doctorate required. Extensive experience in special education required. On-line and graduate college teaching experience required. Course evaluations will be requested.
