ROLE of the POSITION
Reporting to the Associate Facility Director - Ticket Operations, the position helps insure that all functions within Special Events Ticketing operations are carried out in the most efficient manner possible and in compliance with department and university rules and regulations for all events held at the Thomas and Mack Center, Sam Boyd Stadium and Cox Pavilion. This position performs the following duties either personally or through subordinates: Works with Marketing to develop pricing and promotions on tickets, review internal controls of daily operations, renew, assign, process and distribute tickets. Monitor daily ticket sales for all upcoming events; create event information sheets, responds to customer complaints and service requests. Supervise, instruct, and train ticket seller as to proper selling procedures, create customized ticket report for internal department and create individual customer accounts for all tickets issued through UNLV Tickets sales channels.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university or college is desired, an equivalent years of related work experience
  • Special Events experience is a must.
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
  • Competency and experience with normal business software and Paciolan, our in-house ticketing software.
  • Ability to coordinate and schedule staff.
  • Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
  • Knowledge of Athletics Ticketing is desirable.
SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
