The Enrollment Specialist will primarily be responsible for managing prospective students after their initial prequalification, following up with additional information and requirements for any of the University's programs and offerings and successfully guiding them to registration. This individual will provide comprehensive, quality and highly informed service to students, ensuring complete student satisfaction from inquiry through the enrollment process. The Enrollment Specialist will also explore the needs of prospective students in order to best align with their academic and professional goals.
The Enrollment Specialist will handle prequalified prospects efficiently and professionally, effectively responding to any potential students' concerns, issues or inquiries, while successfully qualifying students for various academic programs. This individual will continuously meet and exceed monthly goals, while maintaining a high level of enrollment, managing prospective students following their initial prequalification; Provide complete guidance for prospective students interested in enrolling in any of the University's programs; Consult and coordinate appropriate communication with Admissions, Student Finance and Academic Advising by gathering any necessary information needed to successfully guide prospective students through the entire enrollment process. S/he will build a solid rapport with potential students, and remain as an available liaison for ongoing communications, accurately documenting and recording continuous contact via the CRM system, with each prospective and/or returning student, tracking information to ensure the smooth transition of applicant data. Additionally, the Specialist will produce activity reports as needed, maintaining a high level of knowledge regarding the offerings, programs, services etc. of the three colleges that comprise National Louis University, remain continuously knowledgeable, informed, and connected with the processes surrounding enrollment, handle the more promising leads and/or conduct the higher converting outbound calls to select channels, successfully converting leads and generating additional referrals. The Enrollment Specialist will record all interactions, tracking and documenting information, answer more complex questions, and then ultimately guide prospects through the registration process while working collaboratively with the University community to ensure a seamless and positive enrollment experience. Special projects and other duties as assigned.
The Enrollment Specialist is required to have a Bachelor's degree, along with a minimum of 3 years related experience. Demonstrated knowledge of higher education, college admissions and/or recruitment is preferred, along with strong database management skills and a working ability to navigate a CRM system (ie Salesforce) and SIS (ie Banner). The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems, have effective organizational skills to manage and control a high volume of outbound calls, the ability to work under deadlines and handle pressure professionally, the ability to thrive in a team atmosphere while consistently maintaining individual performance goals, have excellent and professional verbal, written and interpersonal skills, as well as strong active listening skills to ascertain prospective student needs, expectations, etc. The successful candidates will be self motivated and customer focused, driven to provide a seamless and unparalleled student experience
