Senior Research Associate in the Assessment Office at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia.

Seeking an SRA to join a strong Assessment Team and collaborate in conducting and improving our assessments. Duties include independently managing all of the assessment plans and reports for three colleges plus 3-4 vice presidential areas using the assessment management system; managing the assessment website; coordinating the assessment of entering and graduating student cohorts; creating and maintaining online assessment instruments and assessment databases; conducting statistical and qualitative analyses; and responding to ad hoc data requests.

Qualifications: Must hold master's degree in social science or related field and have experience in assessment, research, or evaluation. Knowledge of assessment theory and practice; experience in effectively communicating and collaborating with faculty and staff; and proficiency in using statistical software to complete quantitative and qualitative data analyses are required. A doctoral degree is preferred as are experience using assessment management systems, and an understanding of the principles of accreditation.
