Goucher College's Welch Center for Graduate and Professional Studies (WCGPS) seeks a talented and motivated social media and market research analyst to assist with and execute social media, market research, and outreach strategies.

Committed to providing high quality educational programs that foster a supportive environment for our students to learn and develop the professional skills required to make a high impact contribution after graduation, the WCGPS works with nearly 1,500 graduate students a year who participate in the Arts Administration, Cultural Sustainability, Creative Non-Fiction, Digital Arts, Education, and Historic Preservation Master's Degree Programs.

Reporting to the director of marketing, the primary role of the social media and market research analyst is to gather and disseminate information. The analyst will be responsible for pushing relevant information out through our social media channels, pulling relevant market research information, maintaining Google AdWords campaigns, and conducting live and online informational sessions.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications and at least two years relevant experience; master's degree and market research skills are preferred. Demonstrated professional experience with social media platforms and content curation, Google AdWords, and web publishing are required. The ideal candidate will have the aptitude to understand and interpret pertinent data; assess campaign performance based on metrics; strong presentation skills; and the ability to develop rapport and effectively communicate with a wide variety of people. Superior written communication skills; attention to detail; the ability to multi-task and prioritize, while staying organized; evidence of good judgment; and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines are essential. Occasional travel is required. The successful candidate must have at least two years of driving experience on a state-issued license and will undergo a driving record check.
