Duties: The Creative Design Web Assistant works as a member of a professional cross-functional team to assist in the production/updating of content and images of web pages for enhancement of the Moraine Valley Community College website. The Web Assistant is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that enhance the collegiate environment, promote access to college programs and services, and support student success and lifelong learning.

Education/Experience: Bachelor of Arts degree in web design or related field; minimum one year of experience in web design.

Qualifications: Must be proficient and have demonstrated design ability in front-end web development, and skills to use HTML, including HTML hard coding and style sheets; motivated self-starter; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, SharePoint, and other emerging web design software; excellent organizational skills; portfolio/URL sites required; ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented environment; must be able to work on PC to handle web content and design edits; ability to communicate effectively with all college personnel; has knowledge about website navigation, as well as social media, jQuery, content management systems, and other online and mobile applications/websites; perform related duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:15 pm
