This position is no longer an active posting on HigherEdJobsThe Annual Giving Officer manages a portfolio of annual leadership giving prospects utilizing prospect management and a variety of programs to create significant growth for unrestricted and restricted support. Identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards relationships for all prospects, responsible for developing a fiscal year plan outlining specific programs and activities to achieve projected goals, manages and staffs program responsibilities while organizing and executing special benefits/events (i.e. Reunion Giving or President's Society). Qualifications: BA/BS degree, one to two years successful higher education fund raising experience, collaborative work style and ability to work in a team setting, ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines, knowledge, accuracy and speed with entire Microsoft Office Suite, strong analytical skills, strong communication skills and the ability to understand and translate information to all audiences, willing and able to travel and do periodic evening and weekend work. Desired qualifications: Proven experience in gift cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors as well as managing personal portfolio of donors and prospects, demonstrated ability and experience in working effectively with volunteers.
