Job Description
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services, the Director of the Office for International Students
and Scholars (OISS), is the campus leader in international student recruitment, develops strategic initiatives that ensure a rich diversity
of international students on campus, designs and implements student retention programming, and supports the enhancement of global
opportunities for all students and scholars. The Director serves as the point of contact for all faculty initiated exchange programs and
supports the entire university community with international student and scholar concerns. The Director oversees the coordination of a full
range of services offered to non-immigrant students, faculty, and their dependents by providing guidance and expert knowledge concerning
visa options and federal compliance. The Director is responsible for ensuring federal compliance with all regulations governing student
eligibility for enrollment at the university.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree from an accredited institution and three years of experience in international student and scholar
advisement and international education; immigration regulations that apply to international students and scholars; international program
development and training; intercultural counseling; and international student recruitment and admissions.
