Major/Essential Duties of Job:
The Program Coordinator (Assessment Coordinator) is responsible for assessment projects in the Student Organization Assessment Center, Student Life Studies and for the Division of Student Affairs; assisting Division staff and student organizations in their assessment needs, creating instruments, analyzing data and preparing written reports; and providing specialized skills for assessing programs for effectiveness and student learning. In addition, the Program Coordinator assists departments and staff in their departmental assessment plans. This includes being a resource for staff in utilizing WeaveOnline, the university's software to enter assessment plans and results, and reviewing departments' reports to offer feedback on improvements. The Program Coordinator assists the department in large-scale research projects. Areas this staff member may be involved with includes literature review, organization of survey design, writing reports, and presenting data. Performs other duties as required.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Three years' administrative or project experience in Student Affairs or related area. Ability to work with diverse departments. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Requires the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree with two years of experience in student affairs. Knowledge of outcomes based assessment and quantitative and qualitative methods. Knowledge of SPSS statistical package.
