Bauder College in Atlanta, is looking for a Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Research to join our team. In this part time role, under the guidance and supervision of the President of Bauder College, the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Research (Director, IER) is responsible for Institutional Research functions at Bauder College, including but not limited to the leadership and development of a comprehensive institutional research program to support the College's mission and strategic initiatives.

Key Job Responsibilities:
The Director, IER provides hands-on data analysis, interpretation of analysis, and preparation of reports for both internal and external use and distribution. Translation of data into usable information for the college community is a key function of this position. The Director, IER provides information and analytic support to the college's administrative decision makers in order to facilitate strategic planning, policy-making, support for regional and programmatic accreditation, resource allocations, enrollment projections, and other processes requiring sound strategic analysis.

Qualifications:
The Director, IER is required to have a PhD in an appropriate academic discipline with an emphasis on quantitative analysis and qualitative research methods.

Must have demonstrated experience with quantitative research methods and statistics, quality, program productivity, and evaluation of institutional programs and initiatives.

Must have a minimum of 3 -5 years of relevant experience in a higher education or similar environment. Relevant experience includes data collection, analysis, and interpretation; strategic planning,project management and assessment; accreditation processes and requirements; and assessment of student learning.

The position demands a strong statistical and analytical skill set; demonstrable knowledge of trend analysis; the ability to design, organize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines; and experience with institutional assessment and effectiveness.

Must be able to demonstrate verbal and written ability to clearly and effectively analyze, interpret and display institutional assessment and research data.

The DIR must possess the ability and skill to exercise initiative; function successfully as a member of a fast-paced executive management team; and consistently display the highest levels of integrity.

Must possess the ability and skill to identify needed sources of information and develop strong relationships with diverse groups of internal and external constituencies.

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
