This is a tenure-track position in sociology, with specialization in qualitative methods, gender/family or deviance/criminology.
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. in sociology at time of appointment, though highly qualified ABD's will be considered contingent on degree completion by July 2014. Preferred areas of interest include qualitative methods, gender/family or deviance/criminology. Teaching and research experience desired.
- Candidates must be prepared to teach a variety of courses including Qualitative/Quantitative Methods, Family, Gender or Deviance/Criminology. Candidates will be expected to pursue research leading to publications and external funding on a regular basis, and fostering a healthy community image for the university. This is a 9-month, tenure-track appointment.
