Post-Doctoral Researcher - Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences
A post-doctoral researcher position is available at the Center for Training Evaluation and Community Collaboration (C-TECC). C-TECC aims to expand clinical science training in order to meet the dynamic needs of mental health in the community. Through a variety of community collaborations, C-TECC conducts community-based research and evaluation, trains community providers in Evidence-Based Practices, and builds capacity in community mental health systems. Current projects focus on dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices for young children, including Parent-child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and an early childhood mental health consulting program delivered state-wide to child care centers. C-TECC's work on these projects is contracted through Delaware's Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services. One aspect of the project includes using quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate factors that lead therapists to adopt PCIT with fidelity. The post-doctoral researcher is expected to oversee data collection and data management, maintain IRB project approval, complete data analyses, and present results at local and national meetings. Opportunities for manuscript preparation will also arise. Regular contact and collaboration with the State will be needed to successfully complete these tasks.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology or related field and be knowledgeable about evidence-based assessments and treatments for young children. Experience or interest in qualitative research methods is preferred. Strong data organization and analysis skills are essential. Preference given to applicants with experience completing Hierarchical Linear Modeling and/or Structural Equation Modeling.
When applying please submit a CV and a brief statement of research and clinical interests/goals.
