Job Description Summary:
This position will assist with weekly reporting and manage selected data files and archived databases. Prepare reports for both internal requests and external agencies and organize data for annual publications.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • One (1) year experience in descriptive statistics and qualitative data analysis with the ability to organize data into meaningful tables and charts.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work collaboratively as well as take initiative when working independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Information Management, Statistics, Business, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience working in higher education with relevant experience and competency using statistical software ( SPSS)and Survey Monkey.
Essential Duties Summary :
  • The Institutional Research Analyst will assist in managing selected data files and archived databases.
  • Assist in preparing reports for both internal requests and external agencies, including IPEDS reporting.
  • Compile data and produce annual Fact Book.
  • Monitor and manage recurring descriptive, comparative, and evaluative operations including student course evaluations, special event assessments and other annual assessments activities.
  • Assist as needed with other data collection, and data reporting to administrative and academic units.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
