UNA is a comprehensive, regional, master's level, state-assisted institution of higher education located in Florence, Alabama and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. UNA was named one of America's "Great Colleges to Work For in 2020" by the Chronicle of Higher Education, the nation's premier publication for professionals in the academic world. With an enrollment of over 8,300 undergraduate and graduate students, UNA offers degree programs through four academic colleges: arts and sciences; business; education and human sciences; and nursing and health professions.
