Springfield College seeks applications for the position of Athletics Recruiting/Retention Coordinator for the Departments of Athletics and Undergraduate Admissions. This position serves dual roles as both a coordinator for the recruiting efforts of each varsity athletic program and a liaison between the Department of Athletics and the Office of Admissions. Responsibilities include: coordinates the recruitment efforts of prospective student-athletes, develops recruiting strategies with each Head Coach, maintains a database of prospective student-athletes, mentor coaches with the college recruiting process, update coaching staff on new NCAA Division III recruiting rules, monitor retention, develop prospect campus visit events, and serve as a business manager.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years related experience; or the equivalent in combined education and experience. Master's degree preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills essential. Proficiency in various computer software (Front Rush) programs is required. Flexibility and time management are needed to handle the volume and seasonal nature of the job. Valid driver's license is required and the ability to pass a background check.
