UK HealthCare Information Technology Services has posted the Application Analyst III (Revenue Cycle/Administrative Services) role. This role will be held accountable for establishing strong credibility & collaboration with our physicians, customers, department leadership, affiliated organizations, all I.T. staff members including this Application Analyst III (Revenue Cycle/Administrative Services) role. This is a highly matrixed organization which requires excellent interpersonal skills, persuasion and influencing skills, ability to lead large multi-disciplinary teams through significant amount of varied work assignments.

UK HealthCare is a comprehensive healthcare system consisting of the medical, nursing, health sciences, public health, dental and pharmacy patient care activities of the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY, and in several off-site locations. The Application Analyst III (Revenue Cycle/Administrative Services) will be an integral part of a highly productive applications team implementing and supporting ancillary, clinical, financial, revenue cycle and administrative changes, enhancements, product feature/service packs, patches and upgrades. Monitors and performs daily maintenance and audit of critical application files to ensure performance and data integrity between interfacing and interfaced systems. Perform problem analysis and impact in support of decisions and planning in application processes. Effectively collaborate and coordinate vendor resources in problem resolution. In collaboration with ITS Integration monitor and resolve interface issues. Actively participate in the development of test scenarios and execution of unit, functional/system and integration testing. Mentor and coaches application analysts in successful achievement of project milestones. Skilled in delivering verbal and written presentations and reports aligned with diverse groups. Actively participate or lead meetings, committees, task forces and/or multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams as a subject matter expert.

The minimum requirements for this position are a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting healthcare information applications/systems or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
