One-Year Visiting Assistant Professor in Psychology

St. Bonaventure University seeks applicants for a one-year visiting position in Psychology at the rank of assistant professor, appointment beginning August 2012. Applicants should have completed their doctorate or expect completion by August 2012. A Catholic University dedicated to educational excellence in the Franciscan tradition, St. Bonaventure is a private liberal-arts university located in southwestern New York State. The Department of Psychology has approximately 125 undergraduate majors and an active faculty dedicated to advancing psychology as a behavioral science. The successful candidate can expect to teach several sections of Introduction to Psychology as well as the possibility of one or two sections in their area of expertise per departmental needs. The standard teaching load at St. Bonaventure is four courses per semester. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching in a liberal arts and sciences environment. Candidates are expected to have expertise and prior teaching experience.
