TTC, located in Charleston, SC, is a public, two-year multi-campus institution, that provides quality education and promotes economic development in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties. TTC is a member of the State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education system.

This position requires a master's degree in sociology or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in sociology. Preference will be given to candidates with at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the community college level and demonstrated success/experience in teaching sociology in traditional classroom and distance delivery settings. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. This position will teach general sociology, marriage and the family, juvenile delinquency, and gerontology. Teaching assignments may include day or evening, on campus, or at industry sites. Other assignments include, but are not limited to, designing and developing curriculum, evaluating student performance, and advising students. Candidate must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.
