Two positions available. Term appointments to begin December 2012. This is a calendar year (12-month) professional appointment.

To work as a team member supporting the Information Technology Department and the College functional areas for effective and efficient use of IT systems, services, and applications.


  • Designing, developing, modifying and documenting applications programs on major interactive
and/or administrative systems;
  • Writing programming applications to meet user needs;
  • Documenting all programming code and report production procedures;
  • Assisting in generating information and provide administrative reports;
  • Designing reports and data entry and output formats;
  • Documenting existing programs in response to changes in system requirements and equipment configurations.


  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office, Email, and Internet)
  • One year of proven hands-on experience developing MS Excel spread sheets
  • One year of proven hands-on experience developing MS Access spread sheets
  • One year of proven hands-on experience developing MS Outlook Calendar
  • One year of proven hands-on experience in web-page development skills
  • One year of proven hands-on experience developing documentation and training materials
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attitude and willingness to work in a team atmosphere
  • Hands-on experience in Linux
  • Php, Python, Javascript, or other scripting/programming language
  • Other database experience (MySQL, Oracle)
  • Omniupdate web page development tool
  • Adobe CS5/CS6 experience
  • Other web tool experience (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, GoogleApps, other)
  • At least one year of IT field experience
