As an adjunct BIM Instructor with the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) Online, you will have the opportunity to help our students learn real world practices. This is a remote work-from-home position.

What you'll do as an Adjunct BIM Instructor:

  • Teach courses weekly
  • Prepare all course materials and lessons
  • Provide interesting and relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes in a real-life setting
  • Challenge, engage, serve and communicate with students to encourage their participation and learning while maintaining mutual value and respect
  • Complete grade books, learning assessments and final exam assessments on a timely basis
  • Maintain credentials as required by accrediting councils/agencies and regulatory bodies
What makes a great Adjunct BIM Instructor:
  • An engaging, motivating personality
  • At least 2 years of experience in a business environment
  • 3ds Max design is required - candidates cannot be considered without this skill
  • BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture skills are also necessary
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited college or university with a focus on business, management or merchandising
  • 5 year Architecture degree (terminal) would be ideal
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have completed at least 16 credit hours in 3D/architecture/BIM/drafting software to qualify for this role
IADT Online offers Bachelor and Associate degrees in Information Technology, Web Design and Development, Graphic Design, Retail Merchandise Management, Internet Marketing (Bachelor only), Building Information Modeling (Associate only), Digital Media Production (Bachelor only) and Game Production (Bachelor only). IADT Online is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.
