Shippensburg University is currently accepting applications for a Grant Accountant. The expected salary range is $45,000- $54,000 annually, depending on experience, and includes an extensive benefits package for the employee and dependents.

This position is responsible for setting up and tracking grant funds and cost centers for all federal, state and local grants and contracts, including compliance with applicable laws, regulations and contract terms. This position will work closely with grant directors to monitor budget and expenses for each grant. In addition this position will prepare year-end schedules, reports and entries related to grant activity, as well as coordination of grant financial and program audits with federal, state and independent auditors.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a related field, intermediate to advanced knowledge of spreadsheet programs and a minimum of two years of professional level accounting or related experience. Supervisory experience is a plus. Successful performance in an on-campus interview is required.
