Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
1-3 years of collegiate athletic experience preferred. 7 years of experience is required for appointment at the senior level. Knowledge of NCAA, Big Ten and University policies preferred.

Principal duties:
Under the general supervision of the Head Coach, act as the Director of Operations for a Division I Men's Basketball program in accordance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University regulations. Duties include: assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Men's Basketball office; developing and maintaining the annual budget; coordinating all travel; coordinating practice, game
and facility schedules; serving as a liaison with compliance office ensuring adherence to Big Ten and NCCA rules; serving as a liaison with the Mens Basketball Sports Administrator; serving as a liaison with the Academic Services Office, Sports Medicine, Athletic Business Office, Video Services and Equipment Room, etc.; and other duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

This is an 11-month, Limited appointment. Salary will be commensurate with the candidates qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included. Anticipated start date on or before June 1, 2014. Special Note: UW-Madison conducts criminal background checks for final candidate(s).
