Texas Woman's University, founded in 1901, is a public university with over 14,000 students. The College of Nursing has an enrollment of 2,976 and offers baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral programs. The programs in Denton include RN to BS/MS, Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator masters, Nursing Health Systems Management, and PhD. An increasing number of courses are now offered online. The baccalaureate and masters programs in nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The nursing doctoral program is among the largest in the United States.

The Denton campus is seeking a doctorally prepared scholar who can teach across the RN to BS, MS and PhD nursing programs in a tenure-track position. The successful candidate will engage in teaching, scholarship, and service activities. Experience with online teaching is preferred. Qualifications include an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field and a master's degree in nursing. Candidates must be eligible for RN licensure in Texas. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
