The School of Management invites applicants for multiple tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Accounting. Due to a recent retirement and the intent to expand the number of faculty in the Accounting discipline, we seek to fill three positions beginning August, 2014. Qualified applicants will possess a doctoral degree in accounting or related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in accounting. Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent teaching; evidence of, or strong potential for, an active research program; and a commitment to service.

The School of Management (SOM) offers programs leading to the BBA, BS, BAS, MBA, and MHSM. Accounting is a key component of the SOM curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The SOM has experienced major enrollment growth over the past decade. SOM hired 3 new faculty for Fall 2013 and is committed to increasing the number of full-time faculty over the next 3 years.
