A full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the level of assistant professor is available at The Texas Woman's University School of Physical Therapy - Houston. The preferred areas of teaching expertise are in health promotion and therapeutic exercise, but content expertise in other areas is welcome.

The successful candidate is expected to teach in professional and post-professional programs, develop a scholarly agenda, participate in service activities (school, university, and professional), and maintain currency in clinical practice or research. At least 3 years of clinical practice is required. Preference will be given to applicants with ABPTS specialty certification.

Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas and an earned academic doctoral degree (PhD preferred) in physical therapy or a related discipline is required. The successful candidate is expected to develop an active research agenda. Prior academic or clinical teaching experiences are valued assets.
