This position is no longer an active posting on HigherEdJobsBennington College is currently accepting applications for a split faculty position in Voice, beginning in the 2013-14 academic year. The faculty member will teach one term per year and coordinate closely his or her teaching and advising with other faculty members in voice and in music. Candidates should have college-level teaching experience in a wide range of vocal techniques, classical and non-classical (jazz, musical theatre, and pop/folk), as well as the capacity to teach and integrate the history and theory of music in their courses. CCM training is a plus. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in an interdisciplinary liberal arts environment.
