The Business and Finance Manager will provide administrative support to the University Libraries' (UL) Dean and Associate Dean, with responsibility for UL business and financial operations, including: financial analysis, budget preparation (state and self-supporting), direct financial management of UL (including processing and record keeping of expenditures and revenues), and oversight of interdepartmental requests and transfers, contracts, and other documents. The Business and Finance Manager will ensure that appropriate financial controls are functioning.

Required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and 2 to 5 years of comparable professional experience, experience preparing, monitoring and reconciling budgets using financial databases and systems, excellent written and verbal skills, and the ability to exercise complete discretion in the management of confidential information.
Preferred: Demonstrated ability to prepare written procedures; experience with Financial Data Warehouse applications, Advantage financial system, MyUNLV, Peoplesoft, and UNLV policies and procedures.

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track position at Range 3. Salaries are competitive with those at similarly situated institutions and dependent upon labor market. The position is contingent upon funding.
