High school diploma, two years of college training or business school and two years of responsible office experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade NC.Preferred Qualifications
Prefer candidate to have basic secretarial skills, scheduling skills, organization skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Outlook. Experience with PeopleSoft is also preferred.Position Description
Manage, prioritize, and organize Director's schedule and projects and/or assignments. Maintain files and records related to the Director's activity. Draft and prepare correspondence and reports for signature and advise on requests/reports to ensure timely completion. Schedule meetings, gather/organize material for meetings, and prepare agendas. Make reservations and coordinate special events. Schedule air and hotel arrangements, scientific conference registrations and prepare travel reimbursements. Order office and laboratory supplies and equipment requiring stringent deadlines on delivery of product goods. Prepare credit card reallocations and adjustments as needed. Assist in processing IUT's, journal vouchers and other business adjustments as needed for credit card reallocations. Process electronic requisitions and assist with purchase orders. Keep track of expenses, entering daily activity into reconciliation spreadsheet. Maintain documents of a financial and/or confidential nature. Schedule services with external agencies such as Fed Ex and UPS. Perform special assignments and research for report preparation and other duties as assigned.How To Apply - Staff Positions
