Position Summary
The Regional Coordinator for the Kentucky Center for Mathematics supports KCM community members including mathematics intervention teachers by visiting schools, coaching, facilitating team meetings, sharing information, and providing resources. The Regional Coordinator provides outreach services, promotes awareness of available services and programs, provides professional development services for teachers, and manages projects as assigned such as KY Numeracy, Math Recovery, and more.

Minimum Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in elementary education or a combination of a bachelor's degree and a graduate degree leading to certification in elementary education is required.
  • Master's degree in education or completion of a certification program that requires 30 graduate hours (E.g., Rank II program) is required.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Qualifications
P-5 teaching certificate is required

Minimum Experience Qualifications
Three years of teaching experience at the elementary level is required.
