This is a full-time, 12-month, annually renewable academic professional appointment. The position is available immediately, and the salary is commensurate with experience. Annual renewals are contingent upon a successful performance review, continuing need for the position, and availability of funds. This position reports directly to the Vice Chancellor for Advancement and Marketing.
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field from accredited college/university
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and public relations skills
+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
+ 7 years of experience in creating and maintaining marketing strategies with minimum of two years in higher education or demonstrated working knowledge of higher education
+ Thorough understanding of marketing principles and branding as related to higher education
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently toward achieving department goals
+ 3 years of experience in program management, including budget development and personnel supervision
+ Master's degree in marketing or related field from accredited college/university
+ 3-5 years of marketing related experience in higher education
+ Demonstrated record of increasing levels of management responsibility and experience
+ Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and effectively with broad range of internal constituencies to achieve consensus and positive results
+ Demonstrated leadership success, including selecting, supporting and motivating staff
The Director of Integrated Marketing will develop and manage an institution-wide branding program for the university and be responsible for all marketing-related efforts on the UW-Stout website. The director also is responsible for meeting with all offices and programs involved in marketing to assess marketing needs, audiences and resources; and also for developing marketing plans for the university as a whole as well as individual offices and programs in specific. The director will work diligently to bring marketing efforts into an integrated framework; manage a team of professional writers, publication designers and media relations experts to complete marketing plans; and conduct or contract for market research as needed.
