Position Summary
Reporting directly to the President, the Colloquy Executive Director, Business Development role will develop, sign, and manage strategic partnerships with Colleges and Universities, and potentially other selected educational programs and organizations. Duties include identifying strategic partnership opportunities, analyzing the benefits of the partnership, arranging deal terms in conjunction with Colloquy and University stakeholders, and signing long-term profitable relationships for Colloquy. The Executive Director will be responsible for establishing strong initial relationships, serving as primary business point of contact and liaison for Colloquy, and growing the relationship over time.

Key Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline of accounts with existing and new clients, and manage through to closure - cold calling where appropriate, leveraging existing relationships to gain referrals, and growing and diversifying the base of business year-over-year • Working independently, develop relationships with institutions that lead to profitable revenue streams to Colloquy through lead sales and shares of revenue from enrollments. • Conduct initial financial and strategic analysis to determine partnership fit • Negotiate deal terms and review contracts • Work with academic team, marketing team, operations team, and technology team to ensure successful launch • Maintain CRM (, calendar of scheduled events, support documentation • Travel approximately 50% of the time to meet with potential partners and to support existing accounts. • The Executive Director will be measured on his/her ability to build a reliable and significant revenue stream through multiple academic partners; must be able maintain and augment existing client base with activities that lead to new program launches.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years related experience developing consultative business development sales to higher education leaders • Administrative experience in higher education and/or experience with online education a plus • Excellent presentation and communication skills - written and verbal • Must be able to work some early mornings/evenings/weekends • Must be able to travel 50%
