General Description: Guides, directs and manages all marketing activities for the Continuing Education and Customized Training division, and career and workforce training programs within the Learning Division. This includes research and planning, advertising and promotions, communications, and public relations strategies for different programs. In addition, the Assistant Director serves in a back-up capacity to the Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations on media and public relations issues, including weather-related closings, press inquiries, and crisis management issues.
Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field [required].
Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience [required].
Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years of marketing experience preferred.
Knowledge of marketing strategies and social media tools; experience working with the news media.
SALARY: Starting at $56,499 per year
