Pfeiffer Institute Reach has an opening for a part-time Administrative Assistant, providing administrative support for the day-to-day activities of the Pfeiffer Institute Reach.
Duties will include managing the front desk (answering phones, taking messages, greeting clients), maintaining records of new incoming clients, keeping records of total client sessions, and therapist interns' direct contact and supervision hours. This position will also assist the Clinic Director with administrative duties, executing marketing strategies for the Pfeiffer Institute Reach, and assisting the Program Director as needed.
Hours required may vary slightly by semester, and while the clinic schedule will include 50+ hours, this position will be scheduled for no more than 28 hours each week, including alternating Saturday hours. The actual work schedule will be set based on clinic needs and availability of the ideal candidate, and may require morning and evening hours. The clinic hours of operation will include: 10:00 am until 9:00 pm Monday - Thursday; Friday 10:00 am until 6:00 pm; and Saturday, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
Job requirements include experience working with a database, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Outgoing personality and a sense of humor, with the spirit of working in a team environment, is a requirement. Three to five years administrative experience is required, preferably in a higher education setting. To be considered, you must be able to deal with everyone with tact, discretion, and courtesy, while maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
