The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health.

Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the baccalaureate, MPH and PhD degree programs in the School of Community Health Sciences, Department of Environmental and Occupational Health; publishing research; acquiring extramural funding; service to professional associations; and serving on department, college, and university committees. The successful candidate must possess strong research skills, preferably with a proven track record of receiving research funding from federal agencies.

This position requires a PhD (or equivalent terminal degree) from a regionally accredited college or university. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, however, preference will be given to individuals with a proven record in the areas of environmental chemistry, occupational health, built environment/sustainability, air/water quality

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
