These positions will work directly with Enrollment, Academic, and Finance counselors as well as the Faculty Specialist team to create a collaborative, focused, and student-success oriented support team. This integrated team will work together to assist students in overcoming personal, financial, and academic challenges that all students encounter.
We are currently looking for instructors for the following courses.
ENG 105 - English Composition
The Full-Time Online Faculty will develop and provide instruction that incorporates current teaching methodologies, technologies, and other trends that reflect advances in specific areas of the discipline associated with the individual's teaching assignment.
- Teaches one or more subjects within prescribed curriculum.
- Prepares and delivers online lectures to students.
- Partner with Academic Counselors to provide advisement to students.
- Stimulates class discussions.
- Compiles, administers, and grades examinations, or assigns this work to others.
Experience and Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
- Master's degree in the area of study.
- Additional requirements depending on the subject matter taught in the class.
- Monday - Friday, 12-8, available on weekends for student questions.
This full-time faculty position will be located on-site in the Tempe (Priest and Elliot) call center with afternoon and evening hours as well as weekend availability to answer urgent student questions. These are NOT telecommuting positions as the candidates must be able to work in our local Tempe or Peoria Avenue offices. This posting is for full-time online faculty positions. Out of state candidates will be considered, however relocation will not be offered for this position.
