Position Description

Wesley Seminary has an opening for a part-time Scheduler. This individual will serve as the Seminary Scheduler.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the Dean to assign faculty to courses. Send out teaching invitations and teaching agreements for the Dean. 
  2. Track courses and faculty in databases.
  3. Order instructional supplies for faculty.
  4. Communicate with full-time and adjunct faculty.
  5. Ensure adjuncts have access to courses.
  6. Maintain adjunct faculty files.
  7. Input adjunct faculty payroll into Colleague. Process any other compensation as well.
  8. Coordinate adjunct faculty hiring process by tracking necessary documents and sending those documents through appropriate university offices.
  9. Track textbooks and update textbook list in a timely manner when necessary.
  10. Build course calendars and import into appropriate databases.
  11. Ensure courses are started and running smoothly.
  12. Update blackboard course materials and maintain records.


Some College Preferred, High School diploma required.


  1. Superior oral and written communication skills in English.
  2. Excellent computer skills with working experience in a variety of applications.
  3. Ability to relate and interact well with pastors, ministerial students, and IWU community.
  4. Excellent organizational skills.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance with FERPA laws.
