Description of Position:
This is an lnstructor/Lecturer faculty position within the Rehabilitation Institute, College of Education and Human Services. It is an appointment in the Behavior Analysis and Therapy program and will diversify the current faculty in teaching, research, and service.

Responsibilities of Position:
  • Teach graduate courses in Behavior Analysis and Therapy at off-campus sites throughout the state of Illinois and surrounding region.
  • Supervise practicum, internship, and research of students In Behavior Analysis and Therapy.
  • Provide advisement to Behavior Analysis and Therapy students.
  • Serve the public(s) and constituencies of the department, college, and university as approved/assigned.
  • The rank of Lecturer requires the completed doctorate with emphasis in Behavior Analysis and Therapy by date of hire.
  • The rank of Instructor requires a completed master's degree with emphasis in Behavior Analysis and Therapy.
  • The candidate's area of specialty is open but should be compatible with, and preferably complement, current faculty specializations in Behavior Analysis and Therapy, which include developmental disabilities, child abuse and neglect, autism, and gambling addiction.
  • Applicants must hold a Certificate of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Appointment and Salary: Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position will be paid by cost recovery programs and future appointments will be contingent upon revenue and student demand. Depending upon available funding and student demand, an additional summer semester appointment may be possible.

Effective Date of Employment: ASAP (Spring 2013 semester)
