Duties: Benedictine University is currently accepting applications for a tenure-track, full-time faculty position of Assistant Professor in Finance for MBA program in the College of Business. The position is a nine-month appointment. The individual will be responsible for advising graduate students in the MBA/MS in Accountancy/MS in Management Information Systems programs and participating in professional, university and community service to advance the college of Business programs.
Qualifications: The successful candidate is expected to have a terminal degree or DBA in the area of finance. The candidate must have demonstrated excellence in teaching and scholarship, commitment to graduate education, and communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with a diverse array of students and colleagues. Significant business or managerial experience is required. Candidate must be able to integrate real world experience with academic theory.
