The Department of Biology invites applications for a tenure-track position in genome biology. We are particularly interested in expertise that includes the application of genomic approaches to non-model organisms, within the context of behavior, ecology and evolution. Specific areas of focus could include the study of genome structure and function, population genomics, phylogenomics, and epigenetics. Expertise in these areas will complement a range of research activities in the department, including behavioral ecology, population genetics and phylogenetics, neurobiology, and trophic ecology including plant-animal interactions. The successful candidate will be provided with a competitive start-up package and will be expected to establish a strong, extramurally-funded research program. Teaching responsibilities for tenure-track faculty include participation in our PhD programs and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students. This faculty position will be tenure eligible.
