Assistant Director of Admissions for Communications, Office of Admissions and Orientation
Professional position available January 15, 2013.
Responsibilities: support the Office of Admissions in meeting its enrollment goals by conceptualizing, writing, editing, proofreading, consulting with the designer, and producing recruitment communications; participate as a member of the communications team; evaluate student applications and make admissions decisions; assist with travel recruitment, including high school visits and college fairs.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor's degree by time of appointment; at least one year of professional work experience in a college or university; experience working with publications; experience presenting to a diverse audience; exceptionally strong organizational and communication skills; possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the university' auto fleet policy.
Preferred qualifications: master's degree in student affairs, education, communication, or related field; experience working with and presenting to a diverse student audience/constituency.
